An endless passion for music.
With an obsession, to make things different.

What’s good??? So most folks goto some generator or pay someone who doesn’t even know them to write a bio for them…I ain’t with that. If you’re reading this, myself, illadope is personally speaking to you. I started producing when I was around 11 years old. Like most people at that time I was introduced to Acid Studio & Fruity Loops. While being in the realm of making beats, doing graffiti & such I was naturally drawn to Dj’ing. I got my setup around 15 & have been spinning ever since. I used to get sent tons of different kinds of music. The first Dj’s I found out about were the X-Ecutioners (Roc Raida, Rob Swift, Mista Sinista, & Total Eclipse) Mark Farina, Shy FX, Bryan Gee, & Dj Rectangle. If you know any of these names, you would know my taste of music is beyond eclectic.

When I wasn’t being an introverted scratch nerd, I was studying Drum & Bass and House Dj’s because I always wanted my mixes to be flawless. I’ve been listening to Kool London longer than I can remember so I can thank the many Dj’s that have spun on there. I can accredit my abilities to the vast array of music I would always be exposed to by listening to things stationed in Europe. Once I got a little older I started dabbling in battles such as the DMC’s and things locally. Eventually I started throwing my own shows & learning the in’s and out’s of the industry.

Here’s the facts for those of interest of me. I’ve held numerous residencies. Toured around the country & played a billion shows. If you’re really interested in specific places just hit me up on Twitter or something theres too many places flooding my mind while I write this. If I were to explain my style now after everything Ive done…I would consider it to be unexpected. A lot of people say they’re unique and stuff like that but in a sense everyone is unique unless they’re just straight biting someone. I’ve been told before I have a “sound” no matter I’m playing due to how decide to throw things together. One way to put it would be as if a Jazz musician is about to do a solo for the millionth time how theyre able to keep things fresh by doing something different each time.

That’s enough about me. I appreciate every and anyone taking the time to check me out be it in person or here on my site. Thanks & stay tuned!
